Central Coast Grammar School Students Shine at da Vinci Decathlon: Year 7 Team Named 2026 NSW State Champions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Grammar School is celebrating its bright young minds after the School\u2019s Year 7 team was named as the 2026 NSW State Champions in the da Vinci Decathlon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Held at Knox Grammar School last week, the da Vinci Decathlon State Finals saw the School\u2019s Year 7 team \u2013 made up of students Sonny, Max, Lucas, Felix, Eleanor, Kaito, Eamon and Jasmine \u2013 compete against 157 other high-performing teams to take out the prestigious title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed to test and stimulate the minds of school students from Years 5 to 10, the da Vinci Decathlon is a multidisciplinary challenge that pushes students beyond textbooks, blending logic with creativity, science with art, and teamwork with sharp individual thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Grammar School\u2019s Director of Learning and Studies Years 7-9, Ms Naomi Riley, said she was immensely proud of the students involved, and congratulated them on this impressive achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The da Vinci Decathlon celebrates teamwork, curiosity, and a shared passion for learning, and this remarkable achievement reflects not only the academic strength of our students, but also their ability to access practical wisdom and collaborate well under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn addition, it is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our School\u2019s teaching staff, who go above and beyond to support our students to achieve at the highest level,\u201d Ms Riley said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The School\u2019s Year 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 teams also represented strongly, with the Year 10 team showcasing great camaraderie and ultimately winning the event\u2019s Kindness Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Grammar School\u2019s Year 7 team will now go on to represent New South Wales at the National Finals in June 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
