Central Coast Council is set to deliver an extensive program of events for the Winter season, with this period anticipated to be among the region\u2019s most significant showcases of local culture, creativity and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From late May until the end of June, the wide range of events will feature a diverse mix of food, arts and family-friendly activities in various locations around the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said June events on the Coast continue\u00a0to be a highlight on the local calendar, bringing people together while showcasing the region\u2019s unique character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom our lush hinterland to our stunning coastline, these events celebrate the heart and spirit of our community,\u201d Mayor McKinna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey support local business, encourage people to explore and rediscover the many beautiful places across the Central Coast. I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy everything our region has to offer in the coming months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s on over the June long weekend<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. \u00a0\u00a0Harvest Festival<\/a><\/u><\/strong>(6-7 June)\u00a0 2. \u00a0 \u00a0Taste of Wyong<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0(6 June)\u00a0 3. \u00a0\u00a0Dam Day Out<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0(7 June) 4. \u00a0 \u00a0Creative Journey Art Trail<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0(6-8 June) Beyond the long weekend, the festivities continue with\u00a0Taste of Toukley<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0on 20 June. In the meantime, Council\u2019s new\u00a0Twilight<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0events are already in full swing, lighting up Ettalong Beach and Toukley every Friday and Saturday night until 6 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said the extensive seasonal program reflects Council\u2019s commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality events all year round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Central Coast is not just a summer destination,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur winter events are designed to activate town centres and create memorable experiences for families. The Harvest Festival, a highlight of the June long weekend, invites visitors to enjoy both day and night events. It offers the unique chance to explore farms directly and discover the scenic hinterland, featuring local produce and open farm activities spread throughout several hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Harvest Festival program also includes Taste of Wyong, where the popular $5 tasting trail will bring Wyong to life with exclusive tasting boxes, live entertainment and family-friendly activities at Frank Ballance Memorial Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another Harvest Festival highlight – Dam Day Out at Mangrove Creek Dam offers free guided tours, workshops, live music, food stalls and science activities for families from 10am – 4pm. Please park at 200 Kyola Road, Kulnura\u00a0and catch the free shuttle bus to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
