Megan and Marty Bowden from Activate Foods at Erina create healthy and delicious family sized meals to take the edge off your dinner time frustrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a young family themselves, Megan and Marty understand the pressure parents are under everyday trying to juggle work, kids, after school activities and keeping the house in order. Their family range came about as their kids got older and they started eating the same meal together for dinner. There were also many requests from loyal customers who had been loving their single serve meal range for the past 4 years. The family range offers you convenience and comfort, knowing that everything is made from scratch, so it tastes home-made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activate Foods is the culmination of 2 passions for Marty and Megan \u2013 eating well and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Head Chef Marty, a chef of 24 years, made a career change in 2011 to be a personal trainer. A choice that indulged his passion of physical activity that, funnily enough, lead him straight back into the kitchen. He quickly realised that people were ignoring the vital key to a healthy lifestyle \u2013 their nutrition. Whilst it was easy for him to prepare interesting meals quickly, it wasn\u2019t as easy for someone with less experience or little interest in cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They officially started Activate Foods in 2016 working from a commercial kitchen in Somersby and operating entirely online. They soon outgrew that space and moved to a larger and more central location of 222 The Entrance Rd Erina. Here they have been able to expand their offering and provide a retail store for customers to come in and purchase meals in person 7 days a week. They deliver to the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney every week on a Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activate Foods has a range of healthy and delicious family sized ready-made meals that feed 4-5 people including Beef Lasagna, Whole Moroccan Lamb Shoulder and Bacon and Fennel Meatballs. There are fresh and frozen options in single serve too. All products are gluten free and they have vegan and vegetarian options available too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything is made locally from scratch, using natural ingredients and skill to create delicious flavours. With over 40 meal varieties available at one time, you\u2019re spoilt for choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
