Mardi Gras is not only the most sparkly time of the year but this year is tipped to be the biggest event in Australia since the 2000 Olympic Games, injecting up to $600 million into the local economy as 500,000 international travellers head Down Under for the 17-day celebration for the 2023,\u00a0Sydney Mardi Gras<\/strong>\u00a0presented as World Pride<\/strong> a supersized world spotlight and truly global LGBTQIA+ pride festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sydney will be the first city in the southern hemisphere to host and this year’s celebration lines up with the 45th anniversary of the first Mardi Gras Parade in Australia. Central Coast through the Coastal Twist festival was successful as an official partner as the Coastal Twist Festival continues full speed ahead tackling and winning across previous multigenerational neglect in the region with contemporary Arts and Culture and visible ongoing diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sydney MardiGras parade itself is back to the streets this year after 2 COVID years and Central Coasts very own Coastal Twist Festival float (2021 Best float design finalist) is representing! This year it will mark Twists \u00a04th<\/sup> year inclusion in the parade & this year having been offered the maximum capacity of 80 people. The local float theme this year is Galactic Love on a mission to spread love and inclusion throughout the galaxy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those not in Sydney for the biggest night of the year but still wanting to have some celebratory fun locally, The Naughty Noodle Fun haus in Ettalong will be cheering on the Coastal Twist Festival float at a Free Community, all ages, Viewing Party which will be Live streaming on a massive screen the 2023 World Pride MardiGras parade with a low-key, vibrant local viewing party featuring entertainment by our local Performers & DJs between the Mardi Gras action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an all -ages event (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) Everyone is welcome to attend & that includes our wonderful Allies & all who want to come celebrate our diverse communities. This year with the Coasts Official world pride inclusion there is no need to sit at home & watch on the Tele when you can come join the community shindig & participate in something fabulous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
