Last Saturday night saw the single largest garden party ever to be hosted at the Edogawa commemorative garden at the Gosford Regional Gallery with \u201cORIGAMI<\/strong> \u2013 FOLDING ART & SOUND\u201d the Central Coast\u2019s 1st<\/sup> Music<\/em><\/strong>, Light & Ideas Festival<\/em><\/strong> \u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced by the region\u2019s leading Contemporary Arts & Culture organisation Naughty Noodle Fun Haus and proudly supported by the Gosford Regional Gallerythe festival which had sold out and held a waiting list for entry attracted almost 25% visitation across Victoria and NSW to the region and saw hundreds of people gathered at the Gosford Gallery gates for the dusk into night festival which Festival Director Glitta Supernova described as \u201can immersive human journey literally shining a light on togetherness, human spirit and the creative power pulsating within us all, audiences included. It\u2019s a beautiful way to not only connect with each other, live music and creativity but also our natural environment.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The multigenerational pilot festival tagged as \u201cfolding Art & Sound\u201d<\/em> was testing the appetite for a new locally made bespoke concept Music<\/strong>, Light & Ideas Festival, <\/strong>with its own trailblazing formula and ended up enchanting and enthralling audiences with its broad spectrum of musicians, DJs, projection, performance, and fashion which included an audience promenade catwalk highlighting opulent garden couture. \u201cIn terms of Audiences we wanted to see everyone there, the sitters, the dancers, and the dreamers and to our delight they all appeared to light up the night \u201cstated Glitta Supernova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis was an Incredible event really game changing for the region, I knew the Coast before the Naughty Noodle and I\u2019ve seen the impacts since Naughty Noodle\u201d stated one of the local Arts aficionados as audiences of all ages post festival took to social media \u201cA wonderful evening spent at the beautiful Japanese gardens. Great food, music and boundary breaking acts.<\/em>\u201d commented Judith Leahy<\/strong><\/a> and Bec Richardson<\/strong><\/a> calling the tone of the evening as  \u201c<\/em>Really good music, diverse crowds, feels so safe and judgement free. As a woman in her 20s its soooo nice to be able to go out with my friends and not worry about being hassled. NNFH you are a liberating force\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHaving the support of Tim & the whole Gosford Regional Gallery has allowed for new work, new vision and new possibilities to be created on our door step and we look forward to this Unique Music<\/strong>, Light & Ideas Festival <\/strong>as an Annual event which continues to pivot the perceptions of what the Central Coast is capable of delivering and allows inclusive and accessible culture and community to thrive and create better outcomes and stories for the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
