Bringing the soul and spirit of Spanish flamenco, touring NSW and the rest of Australia from September 2023, the acclaimed Spanish flamenco guitarist Paco Lara will inspire and capture the imagination of Australian audiences with the release and launch of his new album \u201cDuende\u201d,<\/em><\/strong>a self-produced album of original compositions. This show presents a stunning live performance of flamenco guitar with a fusion of music, song, and flamenco dance performed by Lara and his talented ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paco Lara, is Australia\u2019s most prominent flamenco guitarist, representing Spanish culture and music at it best and he has toured internationally alongside some of the greatest artists and maestro legends of flamenco in Spain. In 2017 he migrated to Australia from Jerez, the heartland of flamenco in Spain, and now his style, halfway between tradition and contemporary flamenco, is contributing to increase popularity and understanding of this musical genre in Australia, especially in NSW where the artist resides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flamenco was recognised internationally in 2010 as Intangible Heritage for Humanity by UNESCO demonstrating that this artform inspires people across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDUENDE\u201d brings a unique international collaboration between Spanish and Australian musicians and shows the most emotional compositions of Paco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Lara\u2019s recent successes at the Sydney Opera House<\/strong> and at Adelaide Guitar Festival (2021 and 2023)<\/strong> and his national tour with the Andalusian Guitar Show in 2022, promises Duende<\/em><\/strong> to be an entertaining and popular show with Lara\u2019s flamenco guitar mastery showcasing his talent at the top of the Australian contemporary music and performance scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will share this passion through his mesmerising masterful skills and techniques on the flamenco guitar and \u2018with impressive and elegant articulation\u2019<\/em>, the<\/strong><\/em> music, beyond being exceptionally well played, is always pretty and eminently approachable \u2013 a quality compounded by the choice of repertoire. This new show Duende will transport you to Southern Spain with virtuoso guitarist Lara accompanied by a multicultural and dynamic ensemble of performers featuring Deya Miranda Giner, flamenco dancer, vocalist-Angela Rosero, percussionist, and pianist Byron Mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a record of packed-out concerts at the Sydney Opera House in 2021 this new upcoming tour in regional NSW and Australia<\/strong>, <\/strong>Lara will continue to transport you to new heights of a musical sensations through the energy of Flamenco to draw in the hearts and spirits of Australian audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
