Central Coast Local Health District is hosting the Central Coast Connections Expo, a special local event to celebrate Human Experience Week, in partnership with NSW Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following a hugely successful event last year, the theme of this year\u2019s expo is \u201cInnovate to elevate \u2013 Amplifying all voices and inspiring hope,\u201d and is set to be a day of kindness, compassion, connection, support, information and inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carer Support Unit Manager Tia Covi said the event was a rare opportunity for local healthcare staff, volunteers, patients, carers and the community to all come together and share ideas and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a chance for us to gather, be inspired and reconnect,\u201d Ms Covi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe want to celebrate our staff and volunteers for the positive impact they have on our patients\u2019 experiences and also hear from our consumers so we can explore ways to improve local healthcare and ensure we have a person-centred focus.\u201d
