JUDY | The Judy Garland story takes you ‘Through The Rainbow’ for a unique insight into the extraordinary life of Judy Garland.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali Harper who plays the role of Judy, takes centre stage and channels the life, music and charisma of the legendary Hollywood star. Performing over 20 of Garland’s hit songs including; Get Happy, The Trolley Song, The Man That Got Away<\/em> and The Academy Award-winning song, Somewhere Over The Rainbow<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali has twice received awards at The United Solo Festival in New York in 2014 & 2018 for her performances in Bombshells & Songs for Nobodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali Harper is a graduate of Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School.  With her career spanning over 30 years, Ali has starred in many of the great theatres throughout New Zealand. Highlights include Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, Side by Side by Sondheim, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Calendar Girls, Jerry\u2019s Girls and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 marks the 85th anniversary of one of the most beloved motion pictures of all time, \u201cThe Wizard Of Oz\u201d  In this classic musical fantasy, Judy Garland stars as Dorothy, a young Kansas farm girl who dreams of a land \u201cSomewhere Over the Rainbow\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
