Central Coast Council\u2019s annual Australia Day activities are set to return on Sunday 26 January, offering an exciting program at two locations for our growing community and visitors to the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s events will take place at Gosford Leagues Club Park and The Entrance Memorial Park on Sunday 26 January from 4-9pm and will feature free entertainment, live music, family-friendly activities, food stalls and fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said the alcohol-free events provide an opportunity for the community to enjoy a fun evening in a safe, inclusive environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur events are designed to be family-friendly and welcoming to all residents and visitors,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGather your family and friends for an evening of entertainment, ending with spectacular fireworks display lighting up the Coast\u2019s skyline at 9pm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gosford event details:<\/strong> The Entrance event details:<\/strong> Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna noted that the annual Australia Day events are among the first on Council\u2019s 2025 calendar, offering a chance for the community to come together while also providing support to the local economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur Australia Day events are all about bringing the community together. It\u2019s a chance to connect with friends, family and neighbours while enjoying a day filled with fun and entertainment for all ages,\u201d said Mayor McKinna.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere will be something for everyone, from live entertainment and food stalls to activities for kids and a dazzling firework display at 9pm. So, bring your picnic rug and enjoy the end of the summer holidays watching some live music.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re expecting a large turnout, so please be aware of road closures in Gosford to ensure your safety.
