A tutu-tastic new musical is pirouetting into The Art House Wyong this August. For the first time in 7 years, Josephine Wants to Dance <\/em>is hopping back into theatres, ready to charm a whole new generation into believing in themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the beloved Australian picture book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley, Josephine Wants to Dance<\/em> tells the story of a curious kangaroo with a passion for ballet. While her fellow roos prefer hopping in the outback, Josephine dreams of dancing en-pointe, and she\u2019s not about to let little things like paws or a tail get in her way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With heartfelt songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and some unforgettable characters, this joyful production is a perfect outing for families and school groups alike; while encouraging all children to believe in themselves, follow their dreams, and celebrate what makes them unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming to The Art House from their dear friends at Monkey Baa Theatre Company (Possum Magic, Edward the Emu, Diary of a Wombat, Pete the Sheep<\/em>), Josephine Wants to Dance <\/em>was one of the first children\u2019s shows ever staged at The Art House, making the return a special moment for the performing arts centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
