Central Coast Council is pleased to announce the return of \u2018Christmas on the Coast\u2019 this December, with a festive program of events and activities set to delight residents and visitors alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The region will become a coastal Christmas wonderland featuring twinkling tree lights, holiday window displays, carol singing and visits with Santa. From browsing Christmas markets and savouring traditional holiday meals to participating in interactive workshops, there’s an activity for everyone to enjoy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said Christmas on the Coast has become one of the region\u2019s most anticipated annual traditions, helping bring communities together during the holiday season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChristmas is a special time for families, and Council is proud to deliver a program that brings joy to our town centres and creates opportunities for people to connect,\u201d Mayor McKinna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChristmas on the Coast continues to grow each year, and in 2025 we\u2019re looking forward to a bigger, brighter and more inclusive celebration for all ages.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The town centres will host larger-than-life Christmas installations, with Christmas trees in Gosford, The Entrance and Toukley, and wreaths in Wyong and Terrigal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Free Santa photos, live entertainment and Christmas carols will also be available across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Director of Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith, highlighted that this year\u2019s events programme reflects the Council\u2019s strong commitment to creating inclusive and memorable experiences for everyone in our community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re dedicated to delivering events that bring people together and make lasting memories across the Central Coast. I\u2019m really looking forward to all the festive events and activities taking place across the Coast this December, including the much-loved Christmas window display competition,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLocal businesses in Gosford, Terrigal, The Entrance, Toukley and Wyong will be getting into the festive spirit by decorating their shop windows. People visiting these town centres can explore the window displays and vote for their favourite via QR codes in the windows for a chance to win a $250 gift card.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Voting opens 1 December 2025 and closes 2 January 2026, with winners announced on 14 January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
