Central Coast Council is encouraging residents, property owners and local businesses to collect free graffiti removal kits from Council to help keep our places and spaces clean, attractive and welcoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said tackling illegal graffiti is a shared responsibility and an important part of maintaining a vibrant and safe community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGraffiti can take away from the beauty of our neighbourhoods, and the longer it stays, the more it tends to spread. By removing it quickly with one of Council\u2019s free graffiti removal kits, we can all help to keep the Coast looking its best,\u201d Mayor McKinna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCouncil is also doing its part by removing illegal graffiti from Council buildings and public spaces as part of our regular maintenance. Anything offensive is dealt with fast because everyone should feel proud of the places they live, work and visit,\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTogether, we can keep the Central Coast as clean, welcoming and beautiful as we know it is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith urges residents and businesses to take advantage of the free graffiti removal kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFree graffiti removal kits are available to all Central Coast residents and businesses and can be collected from Council\u2019s Wyong Customer Service Centre, as well as from any Central Coast Library branch,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEach kit includes graffiti remover, protective eyewear, gloves and a scrubbing brush. A short form confirming your address and details will need to be completed when collecting your kit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reporting graffiti on public utilities and infrastructure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Graffiti in public spaces can be reported to Council via the online customer service portal or by calling 02 4306 7900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
