Central Coast Council has celebrated the achievements, leadership and positive impact of local young people at its 2026 Youth Week Awards, held 16 April at The Erina Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual awards honour and recognise the positive contributions of young people aged 12 to 24 across the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna congratulated this year\u2019s Youth Week Award winners and finalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese young people are making a real difference in our community and setting a powerful example for others,\u201d Mayor McKinna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTheir passion and hard work are something they should be incredibly proud of. The Coast\u2019s young people continue to amaze, inspire and lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019d also like to acknowledge the members of this year\u2019s Youth for Youth Leadership Team, who helped bring the event to life. Their energy and commitment behind the scenes added something extra to the night, while gaining valuable skills along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Youth Week Award 2026 winners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The annual Youth Week Awards are delivered by Central Coast Council to empower, support and celebrate young people, reflecting key priorities within the Youth Strategy and Community Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Youth Week in NSW is running from 16 to 26 April 2026 and an opportunity for young people to come together in their local communities.
