KEY 2 REALTY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key2 Realty opened its doors in March 2019 and within a year, the social enterprise real estate agency had grown to manage over 160 properties across the Central Coast and Hunter regions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an amazing achievement for any start-up business, but is also testament to their quality service, professionalism and the support received from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key2 Realty is owned by registered charity and Central Coast based not-for-profit, Pacific Link Housing that provides expert property management services, with the aim of meeting a social need. They refer to it as: \u201cpurpose-driven property management\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profits are to be distributed to support programs that provide education and employment opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These capacity building programs are offered to Pacific Link\u2019s tenants and provide them with tools for self-improvement, skill development and greater independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO of Pacific Link Housing Ian Lynch said there was a real need for programs to assist tenants to create lasting outcomes for a brighter future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the last 12 months we have awarded education scholarships to 31 tenants undertaking studies in a range of fields including photography, mental health and paramedical science,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is so encouraging to see what our tenants can achieve in their studies with a little support,\u201d Mr Lynch said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to education scholarships, Key2 Realty\u2019s landlords can choose to support Pacific Link\u2019s learner driver course and a program known as SHEW, which enables young tenants to participate in sport, health, exercise and wellbeing activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Lynch said the SHEW program not only helped with the fitness and health of children, but also encouraged the formation of life-long friendships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is a huge confidence boost for our tenants to be able to participate equally in these activities. Turning up with the right uniform and equipment is so important for young people\u2019s self-esteem and to feel part of the team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the only social enterprise real estate agency on the Central Coast, Key2 Realty is incredibly proud of its achievements and it is thanks, in no small part, to the support of their landlords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are everyday people, who are fortunate enough to own an investment property on the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manager and Licensee in Charge Jonathan McCaig said the support of our clients has been outstanding and contributed to the success of the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are extremely lucky to have such compassionate community members here on the Central Coast. Our landlords have embraced the Key2 philosophy and are passionate about providing opportunities for those less fortunate,\u201d Mr McCaig said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landlords have offered praise of the property management service, not only for their commitment to supporting those in need, but also for providing outstanding service to their clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key2 Realty is a specialist real estate agency and solely focussed on managing rental properties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claire Braund, a landlord with Key2 Realty, said that the social enterprise model really appealed to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI chose Key2 Realty because it enables me in a small way to give back to the community. The staff are knowledgeable, ethical, compassionate and highly engaged in the work they do. They are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a good match, for both the tenant and landlord, is achieved,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
