Back in 2019 Dr Ash Bowden, aka Doctor Do More, introduced the Activity Search Engine https:\/\/do-more.live<\/a> with the goal to improve health and happiness through physical activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Having visited hundreds of active businesses on the Central Coast, over the last 3 years, Dr Ash connected with anyone and everyone who helps our community move more. Now, after a year unable to visit this long list of providers, Doctor Do More is re-launching the new and improved exercise directory aimed at getting Coasties back up and moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Do More Search Engine works as a directory for exercise, helping users to find movement that suits them by tailoring their searches to ability, location, gender and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI truly believe there\u2019s something active for everyone. When we talk about exercise, we typically think of \u2018the gym\u2019 or \u2018running\u2019 but here on the Central Coast we\u2019re spoilt for choice. There\u2019s martial arts, pilates, yoga, walking groups, pole dancing, CrossFit, scuba diving, swimming, cycling, surfing\u2026the list goes on\u201d says Dr Ash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was with this vast network of active business owners that Doctor Do More ran #MoveAgainstCancer 2021, raising over $100,000 for Cancer Council Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c#MoveAgainstCancer showed me how engaged the Central Coast community are. I want to use that to help more people find something active for themselves. We\u2019ve proven we can get out and walk, now what else can we do?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr Ash also works full time as an emergency doctor and believes exercise is one of the best treatments there is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPhysical activity is a fundamental tool to maintain our wellbeing. Just like everyone owns a recipe book, I think we should all use something to tailor our physical activity.
