A unique and captivating glimpse into the lives of incredible Australians is coming to The Art House in the double bill STARDUST + THE MISSION<\/em><\/strong>. This \u201ctwo-shows-in-one\u201d piece of theatre drama features two powerful yet forgotten stories presented by award-winning ABC presenter Joel Carnegie and acclaimed Gunditjmara actor Tom Molyneux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wonderfully timed in the lead up to ANZAC Day, Stardust + The Mission<\/em> plays one night on April 5th<\/sup> as part of a six-month National Tour and gives us pause to reflect on the rich history, stories, and ancestry of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STARDUST<\/strong> is the award-winning story of Col Brain, one of the best jazz musicians of his generation. Thirty years after his passing, his grandson Joel Carnegie discovered a hidden time capsule of his grandfather\u2019s music and memories now shared on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE<\/strong> MISSION <\/strong>is a First Nations story, with Gunditjmara actor, Tom Molyneux telling the rollicking tale of his Great-Great Uncle Allan, an Aboriginal soldier, who fought for Australia in WWI. On return home he was denied a soldier\u2019s settlement and forced from his land in Victoria in a story of war, love, and loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
