Central Coast Council has partnered with an array of local artists, venues and organisations to host the first ever Central Coast Music Festival when it takes centre stage at Gosford in September with an array of live music and workshops, culminating with a major concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Central Coast Music Festival will debut on Saturday 10 September and deliver a live music festival unlike any other event in the region. Throughout the week, the program offers a mix of stadium concerts and intimate performances at a range of venues in the Gosford CBD as well as pop-up experiences and workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said the music festival has been created to contribute to the growth and development of the local music industry on the Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe festival will give local musos a platform to showcase their talents and offerings through live gigs and workshops,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis new event has been designed to not only appeal to the local music industry, but also engage with the wider community to create a lively experience for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s more than live music, it\u2019s also a chance for you to tap into your inner musician and learn something new whether its DJing, music production, acapella, music photography or publishing \u2013 there\u2019s bound to be something in the program for you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gosford CBD will be a hub of live music from 10-18 September, with the major concert being held on Saturday 17 September at Central Coast Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dan Sultan will headline a stellar line-up of acts at the stadium, including Pierce Brothers, Moving Stills and NEAV, so festivalgoers can kick back and enjoy the music with a range of delicious food and beverage options, as well as many musical surprises throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Administrator, Rik Hart said it\u2019s great to see more live events being held on the Central Coast again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith public events being cancelled or put online during the COVID pandemic, it\u2019s great to see the Coast coming to life again with more and more community events,\u201d Mr Hart said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Central Coast Music Festival has a wide range of music spanning all genres. Whether it\u2019s participating in a workshop, enjoying some live music or attending the main event, make sure you get out and about and check out the festival.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Central Coast Leagues Club is the major partner of the Central Coast Music Festival which will be held in and around Gosford CBD from 10-18 September.
