Mental Health Art Works! is an art exhibition with a difference. Starting in 1999, it provides people with a lived experience of mental illness the opportunity to use art as a form of expression and engages the community in a better understanding of mental health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bringing it into the light. A celebration of creativity and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each year artists of all backgrounds and ages exhibit a diverse range of artworks in various mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, needlework and writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are 12 categories available to enter and win prizes. Anyone with a lived experience of mental illness, or a friend or family member with a lived experience, is eligible to enter an artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
