In 2017, Greg was hand-picked with a personal invitation as the only global Elton John tribute, to perform on the world\u2019s biggest tribute music festival stage in the UK, TRIBFEST. Rocketman Flying Solo celebrates the golden anniversary of GoodbyeYellow Brick Road and sees Greg\u2019s show stripped back, intimate, up close and personal that is built on the hits and format of Sir Elton John\u2019s own solo touring show. Greg\u2019s Elton John Experience will have you second guessing yourself that you\u2019ve not seen the real Elton. \u201cSir Elton always made the audience feel like every show was their show and I\u2019m no different,\u201d says Greg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born in to a musical family with both his primary school teacher parents consumed with playing a combination of piano, violin and saxophone, Greg himself is a classically trained pianist, having graduated from Queensland\u2019s Conservatorium of Music in 1989. Greg channels the music of Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin, who have inspired Greg from such an early age and both he calls personal heroes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
