The Central Coast is once again putting the pedal to the metal to host ChromeFest – one of NSW biggest cars shows – at The Entrance, 27-29 October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no car show that compares to the Central Coast\u2019s home-grown ChromeFest where hundreds of car enthusiasts and rock \u2018n\u2019 roll fans come together to kick up their heels for a tribute to classic cars, vintage glamour and everything 1950s and 60s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ChromeFest is a free three-day event \u2013 Friday 27 October to Sunday 29 October \u2013 held at The Entrance and presented by Central Coast Council, with support from a range of sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said ChromeFest 2023 event program, is all about cars, chrome, fashion, swing dancing and tunes from the good ol\u2019days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow in its 15th year, the festival\u2019s iconic Show n\u2019Shine classic car displays have been opened for the first time to include show car owners of all makes and models pre 1979 with a passion for car shining! We invite all those who have poured their blood sweat and tears into restoring their cars to deliver a work of art, ensuring a bigger range of show cars at the event,\u201d Ms Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChromeFest will host over 10 live bands across 5 stages, a free evening show Friday in Memorial Park, a ticketed event Saturday night, pin up competition, fashion parades, stalls, displays, car cruises and much more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Administrator, Rik Hart said ChromeFest is one of the major events Council delivers every year attracting thousands of visitors and generating significant economic and social benefit for the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t help but enjoy this nostalgic event with a walk down memory lane and soaking up the atmosphere at the outstanding cafes, restaurants and bars throughout The Entrance over the ChromeFest weekend,\u201d Mr Hart said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event has lots of activities for everyone with highlights from the 2023 program including; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Show n\u2019 Shine and iconic classic car displays
– retro market stalls, trade stalls and general market stalls
– five outdoor stages most boasting undercover dancefloors and live entertainment
– vintage glamour fashion parade
– The Australian Pin Up Pageant NSW Grand final

– Paint N Chrome workshops
– ChromeFest Walk of Fame (new area located in the Bayview Mall and Short Street Carpark)
