Here\u2019s a list of things to lookout for which might indicate that someone needs a little more help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>missed appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>appliances left on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unclean house<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unexplained dents in the car<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the fridge empty\/not eating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>changes in personal hygiene<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>forgetting to take medications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>house and garden appear neglected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>loss of interest in hobbies\/activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>depressed mood or behaviour changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What happens next?<br><\/strong>Have a family meeting. If you notice some of these changes it might be a good time to make a family decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Timely planning enables older relatives to transition to access support with ease and dignity.
