Summer just got hotter, with Wave Two of Summer@ The Art House<\/strong> officially announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get ready for a mammoth month of arts, entertainment, and experiences with The Art House\u2019s most exciting Summer@ program ever! Twelve shows, 20 performances, seven workshops, a NSW Government supported holiday break initiative, and a direct transfer from Sydney Festival. Stand-up, cabaret, puppetry, show tunes, Central Coast artists, Australian stories, swing & soul, and so much more \u2013 The Art House is the place to be this summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wave Two kicks off with Australian Drag Diva and international cabaret superstar Trevor Ashley<\/strong>. Fresh from her stint as runner-up on Ru Paul\u2019s drag queen singing show Queen of the Universe<\/em>, \u2018TrAshley\u2019 will spill the tea and sing the house down with her new show Queen of the Moment<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mystifying Adam Mada<\/strong> will make his Art House debut with Mada\u2019s Magic Marvels<\/em><\/strong>. Spellbinding illusions will leave the little ones (and adults!) in a state of wonder. School holiday fun for the whole family, kids will also love Mada\u2019s Magic Marvels Workshop<\/em><\/strong>, where they\u2019ll become magician apprentices to Mr Magic himself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soup enthusiast and certified weirdo Sam Simmons<\/strong> is back with new show \u2013 Man With a Fork in a World Full of Soup<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 ponder the power of puree and muse over minestrone with Australia\u2019s hottest up-and-coming absurdist comic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coast\u2019s own Curtain Bounce Players<\/strong> will delight musical lovers in An Afternoon of Broadway Tunes<\/em><\/strong>. Featuring hit songs from musicals the world over, celebrate homegrown talent in this on-stage cabaret, where audiences will sit on stage with the artists for an intimate afternoon of Broadway ballads and awe-inspiring arias. They can make it the perfect Sunday matinee by pre-ordering a sweets and fruits platter to enjoy at their table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a mission to spread music that\u2019s funky fresh, The Vegetable Plot<\/em><\/strong> (part of the ABC Kids Music Family<\/em>) will have the whole family singing and dancing. The internationally acclaimed children\u2019s band will also help little patrons bloom into big performers with their Magic Garden Music & Songwriting Workshop<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direct from her sold-out season at Darlinghurst Theatre Company, The Divine Miss Bette<\/strong><\/em> is a bawdy, brash, and rapturous experience. Starring Australian musical theatre darling Cath Alcorn<\/strong> \u2013 trained by Steve Ostrow, the man who discovered Bette Midler \u2013 this dazzling production, backed by an all-star live band and dancers, is a rollercoaster ride of the diva\u2019s classic hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tommy Little<\/strong>, the king \u2018deckhead\u2019 of Aussie comedy himself, also returns for Summer@ The Art House 2024, in Tommy Little Has a Regular Size Deck<\/em><\/strong>. An Art House favourite, his razor-sharp wit, wild stories and infectious energy are guaranteed to deliver an hour that will leave you in stitches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
