Central Coast Council is inviting current and prospective cat owners to attend free Coffee and Cat Chats workshops at Wyongah and Wyoming in August. This initiative is part of Council’s commitment to supporting responsible pet ownership and ensuring the wellbeing of cats on the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshops will provide valuable information on feline health, grooming and behaviour from qualified experts. Attendees will gain cat health insights from a registered veterinary nurse, observe a live grooming demonstration and learn about general cat behaviour. Additionally, participants will discover how to create enrichment toys for their feline friends and take home a free grooming kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council\u2019s Acting Director of Environment and Planning, Matthew Corradin said that the workshops support Council\u2019s commitment to fostering responsible pet ownership on the Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCouncil is committed to creating a community where all pets are cared for responsibly,\u201d Mr Corradin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese workshops form part of this commitment and provide cat owners with the tools and knowledge they need to be excellent caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCombined with registering, desexing and keeping cats contained within properties so as not to impact the environment, these workshops form the foundation of responsible cat ownership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
