Central Coast Council has approved additional free kerbside bulk waste collections for residents impacted by recent flooding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 27 May, Council resolved to provide eight extra bulk waste entitlements to eligible households in flood-affected areas. These are in addition to the standard six annual entitlements, bringing the total to 14 free collections per property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The additional services have been automatically allocated to properties in known flood-impacted zones and are now visible in the 1Coast<\/a> Bulk Waste booking system. The impacted zones generally include properties that were inundated by floodwaters around the Tuggerah Lakes system during the recent weather event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The extra entitlements are available for use until 1 February 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This initiative is part of Council\u2019s ongoing commitment to supporting the community in its recovery from severe weather events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Residents are reminded to continue booking their waste collections via the 1Coast<\/a> website.
