Gosford is set to glitter this winter as the legendary Shauna Jensen lights up the Funhaus Factory for a fabulously festive evening of cabaret, cocktails, and Christmas cheer with her one-woman spectacular, Shauna Jensen\u2019s Xmas in July<\/em>. Taking place on Friday the 18th of July, this show is a celebration of everything we love about Christmas \u2013 just without the summer heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christmas in July, also known as Yulefest, has become a much-loved midyear tradition in Australia, offering the chance to enjoy all the cosy trimmings of a traditional festive season \u2013 hearty meals, warm drinks and glittering gatherings \u2013 right in the heart of winter. And what better way to indulge in the spirit of the season than with the powerhouse vocals and stage presence of one of Australia\u2019s most iconic performers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shauna Jensen\u2019s Xmas in July blends cheeky humour with heartfelt holiday spirit in a night of joyous storytelling, fabulous parodies and reimagined Christmas classics. With decades of experience on stage and behind the mic, Jensen brings unmatched charisma, wit and warmth. From her early days in Jesus Christ Superstar to performing with INXS, Jimmy Barnes and Powderfinger, her legacy as a vocalist and entertainer continues to shine just as brightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiences are encouraged to dress to impress \u2013 or distress \u2013 with prizes up for grabs for best and worst dressed. Doors open at 6pm with $12 cocktail happy hour and a festive menu from Beau\u2019s Burgers. Alongside their regular offerings will be a themed Christmas meal featuring a tender roast turkey burger with stuffing slaw, cranberry sauce and gravy, served with classic roast vegetables. The night\u2019s drink of choice is the Pomegranate Paloma Margarita, available all evening for just $15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
