Central Coast Council is pleased to announce the return of the Love Lanes Festival, taking place in Wyong on Saturday 7 February from 4-9pm. The annual event will once again activate Wyong Town Centre with a vibrant celebration of community, culture and creativity in the lead up to Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year the festival takes on a bold new twist with Love Lanes: Wild at Heart, transforming local streets and laneways into freshly enchanted precincts featuring live music, roving entertainment, circus performances, market stalls and a diverse selection of international cuisines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Families will be able to enjoy dedicated activity areas, including a kids zone and circus precinct, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience for all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said the Love Lanes Festival continues to be one of the region\u2019s most anticipated community celebrations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLove Lanes Festival brings residents and visitors together to enjoy the unique identity of the Coast,\u201d Mayor McKinna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is an opportunity for everyone to soak up the magic, to celebrate connection, creativity and the unmistakable spirit of Wyong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attendees are encouraged to use public transport, with Wyong Train Station located approximately 300 metres from the event site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Acting Director Community and Recreation Services, Brett Sherar said there will be a number of accessible features for people with disability at this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“There are 12 accessible parking spaces at Wyong Train Station, sealed roads and pathways throughout the site, accessible toilet facilities, a variety of seating options and service animals are welcome,\u201d Mr Sherar said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTo support safe event operations, there will also be temporary road closures in place from 6am-11pm on the day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Love Lanes Festival is an alcohol free event.
