Long-Time Clients and Staff Invite Community to Celebrate 40 Years of Coastlink at Magical Masquerade Ball
The countdown is on: members of the community are being invited to step into an evening of elegance and entertainment at Coastlink’s Masquerade Ball on Saturday 8 November 2025.
The highly anticipated event will be held at Mingara Recreation Club, and will bring together staff members, clients, business partners and members of the community.
Tickets are just $75 each and available to purchase now from coastlink.org.au
Coastlink staff member Debbie Swinford, who has been with the organisation for more than 30 years, said the Masquerade Ball would be a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate this impressive milestone.
“During my three decades with Coastlink, it’s been very special to be able to see our amazing clients being supported to live happy, connected lives. Our entire team can’t wait to celebrate with the community at our magical Masquerade Ball,” Ms Swinford said.
Her colleague Jacque Dalgarins said she was also proud to be a part of the celebrations.

“In my time with Coastlink, I have seen the organisation grow so much, and I’ve met some wonderful clients. The Ball will be a fabulous way to celebrate this milestone – a night full of great food, entertainment, people and laughter!” Ms Dalgarins said.
Long-time Coastlink clients Julie Spencer and Rhonda Thompson also expressed their excitement at the upcoming event.
“I have been coming to Coastlink for over 30 years, and I’ve made many friends and been supported by some great staff. I’ll be attending the Masquerade Ball with all my housemates and wearing the mask I created myself!” Ms Spencer said.
“Coastlink has helped me to retain my independence and feel included. My daughter has ordered me a mask, and I look forward to shopping for an outfit for the Masquerade Ball. It feels special to be part of something that has made such a difference in my life,” Ms Thompson said.
Coastlink Chair, John Mouland, said the event would be an opportunity to reflect on Coastlink’s journey since the organisation was first established in 1985.
“Over the past four decades, Coastlink’s services have expanded to include quality aged care, disability supports, accommodation services and more; but while our offerings may have evolved, I’m proud to say our commitment to our clients has remained unchanged.
“Our Masquerade Ball is set to be an evening full of fabulous food, live entertainment and community connection, and I warmly invite you to join us,” Mr Mouland said.
Coastlink CEO, Lynne Graham, said the Masquerade Ball would be a moment for the organisation to honour its staff members, clients, and the community it supports.
“Whether you’re a past or current client or staff member, a like minded local business, or a member of the wider community – we’d love for you to invite your friends, colleagues and family members, and join in the celebrations,” Ms Graham said.
