Central Coast Council is inviting the community to enjoy two magical evenings under the stars with the return of its popular Outdoor Movie Nights this September.

Families, friends and visitors are encouraged to bring a rug and cushion and settle in for a free open-air screening of The Lego Movie (rated PG), alongside fun, family-friendly activities and entertainment.

Terrigal Outdoor Movie Night

  • Time: Activities from 4pm, movie from 6pm
  • Location: Terrigal Beach Foreshore
  • Accessibility: A limited number of beach wheelchairs will be available to improve accessibility on a first in best dressed scenario. Beach matting will also be provided to assist with access to the viewing area.

The Entrance Outdoor Movie Night

  • Date: Saturday 27 September 2025
  • Time: Activities from 4pm, movie from 6pm
  • Location: Memorial Park, The Entrance
  • Accessibility: Memorial Park is an accessible location, with accessible parking and toilets nearby.

Both events will feature free roving entertainment including circus fun from RoundAbout Circus and face painting from 4pm, followed by the movie screening at 6pm. Attendees are encouraged to explore local eateries for takeaway or dine-in options before the movie begins.

Central Coast Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said the events are a great way to bring the community together and support the local economy.

“These outdoor movie nights are a wonderful way for families and friends to come together, enjoy a fun evening under the stars, support local businesses and make the most of our beautiful local parks and spaces,” Mayor McKinna said.

“They’re part of Council’s placemaking program, which is all about creating welcoming and lively spaces for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re a local or just visiting.” For all event information, visit lovecentralcoast.com/outdoormovienight
