It’s a big year for contemporary music at The Art House and it all kicks off with non-other than Macy Gray performing in the intimate 500-seat venue this July.
The Art House may be the smallest venue listed on the Australian tour, but nowhere else will audiences experience global superstar Macy Gray in an up-close-and-personal concert. Lap up the nostalgia of Macy Gray with her sleek, sultry, and mature take on R&B and of course the hit song ‘I Try’.
She is touring to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her triple-platinum Grammy award-winning album ‘On How Life Is’, which broke into the music scene during the late 90’s. This album turned Macy Gray into a powerhouse of R&B and Soul whose ability to be forward thinking with her music reaffirms her as a fan favourite.
This year The Art House have lined up Macy Gray, Eskimo Joe, Jimmy Barnes, and The Black Sorrows plus more exciting big names to be announced soon, it’s rare to see artists of this calibre in such a setting and outside the major capital cities, so audiences on the Central Coast are in for a treat.
Tickets for Macy Gray are selling fast and be sure to keep an eye out for the next exciting musicians to hit the stage.
