Central Coast Council is inviting families and visitors to add a little adventure to their winter school holiday calendar with The Entrance Connect, running from Saturday 4 July to Sunday 19 July.
Returning for its second year, The Entrance Connect is a fun, self-guided Connect-Four-style game where participants are encouraged to explore The Entrance, support local businesses and go into the draw to win one of five $250 EFTPOS gift cards*.
Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said The Entrance Connect is a great example of how Council supports both the community and local business during busy holiday periods.
“This interactive experience highlights the best of The Entrance while bringing families together in a fun and engaging way,” Mayor McKinna said.
“The event reinforces Council’s ongoing commitment to creating vibrant town centres and showcasing the Central Coast as a must-visit destination.”
From riding the historic Ferris wheel and watching the iconic Pelican Time, to shopping local or enjoying a sweet treat, The Entrance offers something for everyone.
Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said the initiative encourages both locals and visitors to rediscover the area through simple, family-friendly activities.
“Pick up a game card and connect a line by completing activities or purchasing listed items to go in the draw to win,” Ms Smith said.
“With a mix of free and paid experiences, from amusement rides and public art to scenic coastal walks, it’s the perfect way for families to explore this holiday hotspot.”
The Entrance Connect is just one of many exciting activities happening across the Central Coast over the winter school holidays.
