ADSSI Reinforces Commitment to Excellence in Aged Care Services

by LukeAdmin

Following recent media attention on aged care service quality, ADSSI reaffirms its dedication to delivering quality home care services for seniors. Amid heightened scrutiny from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, ADSSI proudly stands as a leader in compliance, care, consumer engagement and reform readiness.

Commitment to National Standards
ADSSI is pleased to confirm that our group of brands—Adssi In-home Support, Beresfield Community Care, Dungog and District Neighbourcare, and Maitland Community Care Services—meets and exceeds national standards. The Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission’s recent audit, conducted in February 2024, found ADSSI to be fully compliant across all areas, which is the highest achievable outcome.

John Baillie, CEO of ADSSI Limited, said that this recognition highlights our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

“It is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our staff and volunteers who prioritise the well-being of every client we serve,” he said.

Ongoing Training and Preparation for Reforms
Ensuring high-quality care is a cornerstone of ADSSI’s operations. Our staff and volunteers receive mandatory and ongoing training on critical areas, including the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) and the prevention of financial coercion.

This equips them with the skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients.

In light of upcoming reforms to compliance and reporting requirements, ADSSI is proactively preparing to meet new challenges.

“We understand the complexities of the reporting framework and are committed to navigating these changes without compromising the quality and compassion of our care.

“Our organisation is focused on balancing robust compliance with meaningful, client-centred care,” he added.

Consumer-Centric Approach
ADSSI values the voices of our clients and their families. Feedback is welcomed and integral to our continuous improvement efforts. By fostering open communication, we aim to ensure our services consistently align with the needs and preferences of our community.

Transparent Compliance Information
Provider compliance data is now publicly available on My Aged Care, where all ADSSI brands are proudly listed as compliant. This transparency reflects our dedication to accountability and excellence.

We invite the community to explore our compliance information as a reassurance of our high standards.

“Our goal is to support seniors to live their best lives with care at home, delivered with integrity and respect”, Mr Baillie concluded.
