Free Mother’s Day Concert: Live Music & Bubbly at FunHaus Factory

This Mother’s Day, immerse yourself in an enchanting musical journey with Sonic Sundays as FunHaus Factory proudly treat everyone to a free live music event with The Marvellous Hearts and their original Folk & Blues music for a soulful afternoon filled with captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics featuring Capt Bluetongue’s gritty vocals supported via guitar and violin, and double bass.

As an extra treat for Mother’s Day, anyone bringing mum or a carer to Sonic Sundays, and they receive a complimentary glass of bubbly, wine, or beer to enjoy during the performance. It’s our way of celebrating all the incredible mothers & carers out there and saying thank you for everything they do. We also have a creative kiddie corner to keep the young ones occupied to draw & play games.

With recent highlights at The Veranda Festival in Tasmania, The Northern Beaches Music Festival, and Southern Sydney Folk Club, The Marvellous Hearts have garnered acclaim from both folk peers and festival-goers alike. Australian music journalist Stuart Coupe praises their eclectic sound, stating, “The Marvellous Hearts sound like what happens when you give crate-digging music fanatics instruments and tell them to go make a record.”

While enjoying the music, indulge in delicious Colombian street food from The Empanada Bar and sip on cocktails or mocktails to complement the atmosphere. This all-ages event welcomes families (under 18s accompanied by an adult) to enjoy an afternoon of live music in a fully accessible venue.

Admission to this event is free, but registration is required.

Sonic Sundays is a series of live music events showcasing emerging and established talent from various genres, providing a platform for artists to connect with audiences in an intimate setting.
