For the first time in three years Central Coast Council will host a New Year’s Eve event with a spectacular program planned for Memorial Park at The Entrance on Saturday 31 December.
The huge family-friendly event which includes amusement rides, live music, and of course fireworks will help attendees enjoy the final sunset of 2022.
Celebrations at the alcohol-free event start from 6:00pm with plenty of opportunities to satisfy all attendees. On-sight food vendors will be cooking up a treat to whet attendees appetites, while music lovers will enjoy Piper Rodrigues, Rebecca Johnson Band, and the headliners Hussy Hicks.
Rounding off the evening will be the dazzlingly display of fireworks from 9:00pm allowing the crowd time to get home for midnight.
Council’s Director Community and Recreation Services Melanie Smith is looking forward to the celebrations.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event with Memorial Park a beautiful background to celebrate the end of 2022.”
Council Administrator Rik Hart said it’s fantastic that New Year’s Eve celebrations are back in full swing.
“We know our community love the fireworks display and having not had the opportunity for a few years, will be relishing the chance to get out and celebrate with their friends and family.
“The fireworks have been timed for 9pm so everyone can see them before heading home ahead of any midnight celebrations. I encourage our community to have fun and enjoy the celebrations safely,” Mr Hart said.
