The Grigoryan Brothers Return to The Art House Wyong with This Is Us: A Musical Reflection of Australia

by LukeAdmin

Acclaimed guitar duo, The Grigoryan Brothers, are set to transport audiences through time when they bring their evocative concert, This Is Us: A Musical Reflection of Australia, to The Art House Wyong this Autumn.

Returning to Wyong for the first time since 2019, this genre-bending performance blends history and music, with each song inspired by one of 18 significant relics housed at The National Museum of Australia. From a 65,000-year-old rock shelter to Sir Don Bradman’s iconic cricket bat, these artefacts are transformed into an immersive musical experience through the brothers’ masterful compositions.

This is the first concert to feature an entire suite of original compositions, showcasing the Grigoryan Brothers’ unparalleled guitar artistry. Audiences will experience a range of instruments, including electric guitar, 8-string tenor ukulele, and 12-string classical guitar, alongside high-definition projections of the relics that inspired the music.

Don’t miss the opportunity to witness this unique and powerful celebration of Australian history and culture through music.
