Central Coast Council is inviting residents to help shape the future of the region, with feedback being sought on a range of projects and plans that will influence community facilities, road safety initiatives, environmental improvements, disaster resilience and services for older residents.
The following projects are currently seeking community feedback:
• Wyong public toilet review (Apex Park)
Feedback on a proposal to close and demolish the public toilet facility at Apex Park, Wyong.

• Terrigal Haven Dog Park
Feedback on three concept designs for a proposed fenced off-leash dog park.
Submissions close on Thursday 15 October 2026.
• Saltwater Creek Regional Playspace at Long Jetty
Feedback on new play equipment and experiences for the future regional playspace.
Submissions close on 16 October 2026.
• Road Safety Strategy
Feedback on road and transport experiences, safety concerns and priorities to help inform the development of Council’s first Road Safety Strategy.
Submissions close on 20 October 2026.
• Draft Natural Disaster Resilience Strategy
Feedback on Council’s draft approach to strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience across the Central Coast.
Submissions close on 20 October 2026.
• Positive Ageing Strategy 2027–2032
Feedback on how Council supports older people through programs, services, public spaces, community connections and partnerships over the next five years.
Submissions close on 30 October 2026.
• Greening our City Grant: Woy Woy, Ettalong Beach and Umina Beach
Feedback on proposed street tree and biodiversity plantings that aim to increase shade, expand urban tree canopy and support local biodiversity across the Peninsula.
Submissions close on 1 November 2026.
