A first-time theatre experience for babies and new parents
As The Art House presents An Uncertain Time, babies and their carers are invited to experience its first specially designed sensory show for babies aged 0-18 months this August.
In the whirlwind of a baby’s first year, it’s easy to forget to pause. This intimate experience creates a space for parents to still and bond with their baby as they safely explore.

Unlike traditional performances, this immersive experience allows babies to explore sensory play with a combination of live and recorded music, ethereal and malleable lighting design, visual projections, physical theatre and circus, and sensory experiences to create a narrative journey for both baby and carer.
The Art House looks forward to providing a space where new parents can make special memories with their babies as performances such as this are rare on the Central Coast.
Neuroscience tells us that critical neural pathways are formed in the first three years of life. Providing infants with experiences such as this can help foster early connections to beauty, belonging and storytelling.

An Uncertain Time is a unique, tactile, sensory and visual experience that will captivate babies and adults alike.
