Fresh Look for Local Childcare: Central Coast Council Unveils Vibrant New Brand for Early Education

Central Coast Council has launched Coastal Kids, a refreshed and unified identity for Council’s early education and care services that will strengthen community recognition across the region.

Council’s early education and care services provide families access to quality, affordable childcare close to home, supporting children’s development and helping parents stay connected to work and community life on the Central Coast.

Council Acting Mayor, John Mouland said the new Coastal Kids brand reflects what the community has told us matters most, which is safe and supportive early education for local families.

“Coastal Kids is a vibrant new identity that will help families connect with Council’s early education and care services. Importantly, while the name is changing, the trusted educators, high-quality care and programs families rely on will remain the same,” Acting Mayor Mouland said.

“The rebrand celebrates our local identity while strengthening how we present our services to the community. It supports the long-term growth of these important services across the Central Coast.”

Council Director Community and Recreation Services, Melanie Smith said the rebrand gives families a clearer understanding of the service and its long-term benefits.

“Families have told us that they value safety, stability and connection. Coastal Kids reflects those priorities,” Ms Smith said.

“The new identity will improve recognition among families seeking childcare on the Central Coast.”
