Dying to Know Day aims to shine a light on the transformative power of community in helping to dissolve the discomfort of talking about death and dying and encourage individuals to talk about their own unique final arrangements. “We want to call out the powerful role that community plays in supporting conversations around death and dying, and encourage each person to share their unique stories, ideas and opinions on what truly matters in their end of life plans,” said Lyn Parkes, Community Liaison Manager of The Palmdale Group.
To start the conversation with others in the community, Creightons is hosting 2 information sessions, and invite you to enjoy light refreshments and engage in meaningful conversations with fellow attendees.

Each year, a growing number of Australians participate in the Dying to Know Day campaign by bringing together their community for in-person and online events. Dying to Know Day events aim to encourage Australians to ‘get dead set’ by initiating conversations around death and dying, and help individuals to plan and talk about their final arrangements.
People are also encouraged to join the conversation and share their experience or #FinalArrangement floral bouquet on socials using the hashtags #GetDeadSet #DyingToKnowDay #FinalArrangements #D2KD2024, and tagging @D2KDay on Facebook and Instagram.
