Gosford Regional Gallery & Naughty Noodle Fun Haus come together to create an immersive and interactive experience to transport Edogawa Commemorative Garden @ Gosford and audiences into a fantastic alternate reality experience of story, sound, light and exploration.
The Gallery gardens come alive in what best can be described as a mini–VIVID Festival type experience for one night of creative magic & wonder with the Garden Art Party “Origami”. Creative Director Glitta Supernova stating “Set in the April outdoors we are creating a garden of delights folding Art with Sound, layering Live Music with Mesmerising Light & Visual Projection, DJs, food curators & Performance Art where your invited at dusk to party into the night across multiple outdoor spaces into what will be an audio-visual feast in an experiential immersive journey to engage your senses, you don’t need to travel to Amsterdam or New York or even Sydney – to expand your contemporary experiences.”
Headliners Global DJ Duo Stereogamous (Glastonbury, Burning Man who have collaborated as producers with artists such as George Michael, Kylie, Grace Jones, LCD Sound System, RÜFÜS & Sia Yaeji, Electric Fields) are bringing the dance party vibes in between the live music and performance sets and will be playing alongside Projection Artist David Hoare & Visual Artist Thomas Pullar who will be bringing the trees alive, delivering extraordinary 3D mesmerising visual display experiences through the after dark visual content spectacular all immersive storyteller.
The 3 incredibly diverse live Music acts from locally based cinematic noir-jazz, tiki blues band the “Strange Paradise Quartet” to Sydney based Electronic hyper-pop Sydney Asian Musician “Dyan Tai” and soulful, poetic & croony musical magician “Imbi” (Live Voice of the Year, NSW)alongside Performance Artists Canoe & Glitta Supernova who will wrap you in their worlds of story, absurdity & costuming as they explore memory, place and belonging.
Dance inside the traditional Japanese teahouse mini disco, stroll meandering 3D pathways as the garden comes alive through wild visuals, take in live music on the Japanese Koi pavilion and immerse yourself in live performances or just sit in nature & connect.
Great food is art too the Honest Cook offering Traditional Sichuan dumplings & Bao buns Dumplings HAND MADE on the night using only Australian prawns, beef, pork, chicken and lamb sourced from Hunter Valley farm & enjoy our Popup Bar & nibbles.
Bring your festival seating, lawn furniture, picnic rugs and settle in behind a setting Gossy sun. Dress for a garden party, plant couture, fairies & garden gnomes, flowers in your hair, paper outfits & accessories. This is an outdoor event in the beautiful Edogawa Garden, Gosford Regional Gallery. Rain, Hail or Shine (we will take over the Gosford Regional Gallery inside should it rain)
