Experience Grug Live at The Art House: Perfect for Young Kids

by LukeAdmin

One day, the top of a Burrawang tree fell to the ground. Then the grassy top began to change. It became Grug! The iconic character from the famous children’s picture books by Ted Prior has been given life and will waddle his way into The Art House studio to charm the littlest of audiences.

Adapted for the stage by Windmill Theatre Company, who previously brought to audiences Bluey’s Big Play, Hiccup! and TV’s Beep and Mort. This production is guaranteed to contain stunning puppetry, an imaginative and beautiful set as well as lovable characters expertly performed by professional actors.

The Art House presents program holds an array of high quality children’s productions throughout the year and will select productions to cater for all age groups. Grug is perfect for the youngest theatre goers and is recommended for children aged 2-6 years. Keeping in mind nap times, The Art House has programmed a 9:30am session to assist with access for parents.

Tickets are selling quickly as Grug will be in the Studio, which is a smaller, more intimate performance space where the kids can get up close, so get online and grab them while you can.
