In response to the COVID pandemic in 2020, Coastal Laundries & Linen began operations at four initial locations. Just over 12 months later, Coastal Laundries & Linen has expanded to six locations across the Central Coast.
Coastal Laundries is a genuinely local business offering quality laundry and linen services to the Central Coast, servicing both domestic and commercial clients.
Existing laundrettes at North Gosford, Woy Woy, Ettalong & Avoca Beach were purchased by Coastal Laundries in 2020. To further boost the network’s processing capacity and to service additional parts of the region, two new Laundrettes at Point Clare & Kincumber were added to the group in July & August 2021 Further to this a new self-service laundromat was added adjacent to the existing Ettalong Laundrette in June. A pick-up and delivery service is now operating from Patonga to Toukley, expanding the offering across the Central Coast.
Nicole Hain-Lynch, Business Manager of Coastal Laundries & Linen, appreciates that the COVID pandemic has heightened the community’s awareness of maintaining clean premises at home or for their businesses. The laundries remain open as an “Essential Service” throughout the lockdown period and are proud to continue to offer this service to locals at this time.
“We’re here to support the greater Central Coast community. We’re open, and we’re providing our friendly and efficient “Essential Service””said Nicole. “Let us take care of your laundry so you can focus on other important tasks.”
As the name suggests, Coastal Laundries & Linen offers a range of laundry services, including wash, dry, fold, ironing services, commercial laundry services, and accommodation linen hire, ideal for Airbnb hosts and accommodation providers at competitive prices.
The Linen hire service also extends to businesses needing regular linen pick up and delivery services such as medical practices, restaurants and cafes. Companies can hire anything from tea towels and tablecloths and patient gowns, towels, and sheets for health providers.
The company already works with several significant businesses & groups, including: Accom Holidays Ettalong Beach, boutique accommodation providers, hospitals and dental/medical practices; local hospitality providers including cafes, restaurants and community sporting groups.
Stephen Brooks, Principal of Accom Holidays Ettalong Beach, said, “The convenience and quality of service and efficiency are just some of the reasons why we use Coastal Laundries & Linen.”
Stephen added, “Further to this, it is paramount that all local businesses support each other wherever possible, especially as we work through the COVID pandemic.”
Most of Coastal Laundries’ locations also offer self-service laundromats for the general public’s use.
As for services for the general public, customers can take advantage of the convenience of large capacity washing machines, which can wash an entire week’s worth of laundry within an hour – or easily wash king-size doonas at the North Gosford, Point Clare, Ettalong and Kincumber Laundrettes 7 days a week.
The new laundromats at Ettalong, Point Clare and Kincumber offer a “fresh take” on a traditional laundromat, with fresh, bright interiors, top of the line Dexter brand washers and dryers, and the added convenience of card-operated washers and dryers.
Alternatively, if you’d like someone else to do your laundry (and who wouldn’t!), you can drop your laundry off and return later to pick it up freshly washed, dried and folded. Ironing is also available on request, as is a convenient pick-up and delivery service with a fleet of drivers servicing the Central Coast, from Patonga right up to Toukley.
Nicole added, “The success of this business is due to the effort of a dedicated team of Central Coast locals keen to serve their local community. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve all achieved during a uniquely tumultuous time, and we’re still just getting started. There’s lots more to come.”
