Free Coffee and Cat Chats Workshops: Essential Tips for Cat Owners in Wyongah and Wyoming

by LukeAdmin

Central Coast Council is inviting current and prospective cat owners to attend free Coffee and Cat Chats workshops at Wyongah and Wyoming in August. This initiative is part of Council’s commitment to supporting responsible pet ownership and ensuring the wellbeing of cats on the Central Coast.

The workshops will provide valuable information on feline health, grooming and behaviour from qualified experts. Attendees will gain cat health insights from a registered veterinary nurse, observe a live grooming demonstration and learn about general cat behaviour. Additionally, participants will discover how to create enrichment toys for their feline friends and take home a free grooming kit.

Council’s Acting Director of Environment and Planning, Matthew Corradin said that the workshops support Council’s commitment to fostering responsible pet ownership on the Coast.

“Council is committed to creating a community where all pets are cared for responsibly,” Mr Corradin said.

“These workshops form part of this commitment and provide cat owners with the tools and knowledge they need to be excellent caregivers.

“Combined with registering, desexing and keeping cats contained within properties so as not to impact the environment, these workshops form the foundation of responsible cat ownership.”
