Contemporary LIVE MUSIC EVENT Free for our senior communities

by LukeAdmin

It’s incredibly well documented that staying social offers a real boost for the ageing body and brain. “The needs of our elders can be incredibly diverse and from the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus perspective, we created this year’s Seniors Festival event with the overarching themes of creating opportunity to socialise, smile and stimulate your soul” stated Creative Director Glitta Supernova.

“This 2023 Seniors Festival Naughty Noodle returns with a brand new Silver Soiree, live music event featuring 3 Iconic Cabaret Stars of the Australian Music Scene in a glamourous, Contemporary evening of live music & satire. All are welcome to attend this all-ages event, but we are excited to be able to offer free entry for 60+ & 50+ for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people.”

Supported by NSW government for the 2nd year running, last year’s Silver Soiree saw Naughty Noodle hosting the largest Seniors Festival event on the Central Coast a show equating to anything you would expect from any contemporary show at the Sydney Opera House Studio or on the national Festival circuit with a multigenerational audience mixing it up and celebrating Seniors week beyond the ticking of boxes, through visible and inclusive ongoing entertainment. The upcoming show features a brand-new line up of local & visiting acclaimed performers that’ll take you on a musical journey through story & song.

Featuring local Multi-award-winning jazz musician Dorian Mode, who has performed in the Spiegeltent at Adelaide Fringe and Sydney Fringe, his martini-dry wit presenting cheesy original music with one foot in the fondue pot & one foot deep in cultural satire, the Sydney Morning Herald recently reviewed him as “Laugh out loud” also on the line up Rupert Noffs, after 7 years of living in New York City, Rupert returned home to the Coast in 2017, he has co-written and performed numerous shows with New York cabaret legend, Amber Martin, played the son of Jacki Weaver for MTV and the nephew of Bob Downe in both Sydney and San Francisco & Jude Bowler our special out of town guest best known for her incisive character-comedy whose history ranges from showgirl to drama, radio to physical theatre, who “… channels Dietrich with impeccable disdain”

In true Naughty Noodle fashion, we love a dress up so pop on something Glitzy with our “Silver Glamour” dress theme & join the Naughty Noodle for an exciting fun show this Seniors Festival.
