The program traverses a variety of styles, some incorporating jazz, percussion, repetitive and vocal elements, which keeps audiences enthralled. Ensemble Offspring have a knack for bringing technically intricate works and powerful stories to life in an immensely uplifting way. Audiences connect with the joy visible on stage between the quartet members.

To Listen To Sing features Ensemble members Claire Edwardes (percussion), Lamorna Nightingale (flutes), Jason Noble (clarinets), and Rowena Macneish (cello). Ensemble Offspring is one of Australia’s leading music groups, standing at the forefront of musical innovation. Led by internationally acclaimed percussionist Claire Edwardes OAM, the ensemble unites the country’s most fearless and virtuosic instrumentalists.
“Ensemble Offspring just oozes personality. A lot of groups can play at a high level. What makes Offspring really special is that after a concert, you feel like you know each and every one of them personally. They are a real band.” – David Dramm, composer
