For music lovers, swing dancers and vintage culture aficionados looking for a fun and sophisticated Sunday afternoon recharge, the FunHaus Factory is hosting an all ages swinging lunch this Sunday as its transformed into a speakeasy featuring the ever-popular local band The Bathtub Gin Orchestra.
Described as two parts 1920s stomp, one-part early 1930s swing with a dash of Gypsy jazz, get set to tear up the dancefloor, take in the good vibes and celebrate the party music of the early 20th Century.
This is a Free & Family Friendly event as the Fun Haus Factory in Gosford continues to kick start a beating heart of contemporary culture in Gosford, much like what you would find in a cool, quirky Sydney or Melbourne Live Music venue and bar. The Fun Haus factory has been hosting live music at a weekly pace not seen in Gosford for some years, the space encourages patrons to “ Find a perch on the deck with views of the park & cool off under the newly installed misting cooling system will have you cool as a cat on this Sundays Summer’s Day”
Tuck into lunch, cooking up Authentic Mexican City Street food & an icy Cocktail, wine or local tap beer. Happy hour with $10 Cocktails Midday – 1pm & the band kicks off 1:00 – 3:00pm with the swinging sextet that comprises of Phoebe Haselden on violin/vocals, Dorian Mode on piano/vocals, Morgan Haselden on guitar/vocals, Brendan Berlach on clarinet, Fiona Lugg on double bass and Toby Hall on drums encouraging you to get yourself into the vibes of Charleston, Balboa, Lindy Hop, or Collegiate Shag.
This is the last free, live music event hosted by the Naughty Noodle fun Haus for 2023, there has never a better day to get out onto the deck, take in Kibble Park and the uber cool vibes that come from just doing you!
