Central Coast – As every dog-owner knows, our dogs are so much more than just pets. They’re our fur-kids, our family, and our best friends. So, it’s only fitting that we give our four-legged companions the runway they deserve at this year’s Coastal Twist Festival with the return of our infamous Puparazzi Pooch Parade on Sunday 1 October.
With over 9,000 attendees as last year’s parade, this celebration of our furry-furriends brings together dogs, dog owners and dog fans of all ages and abilities for a fabulous furry fashion frenzy of fun, activities, shows, and prizes.
“Inclusion Means You” is the mantra of this year’s Coastal Twist Festival. Embracing diversity and unity, the festival is more than just a celebration – it’s a call to come together, respect each other, and make the Central Coast a happier, healthier community and this includes all of our fur-friends too!
Hosted by our local Fashion Qween June Richards & TV Personality Tim Dormer join us from 10:45am on our main stage at Fair Day for 45 minutes of Furry Fashion Frivolity where our fiercest four-legged friends will sashay their way to take the crown and win some amazing prizes. And did we mention it’s FREE?
Dog parents from across the coast are invited to sissy that walk and register their fur-baby in this year’s iconic Puparazzi Pooch Parade in one of the four categories:
- #dogsdoingdrag: this is a gender bending dress up showcase of our most stylish pooches “It’s called fashion darling, look it up!”
- #whoworeitbetter: a pooch and owner look-a-like showdown… “Who will upstage who?”
- #turningtricks: we don’t just look hot we also have heaps of talent, show off your best trick!
- #hottesttwerker: The waggliest tail… “Who’s got the moves to shakedown the very fabric of reality?”
Registration is a must by 5pm, 20th September 2023 unless we reach numbers prior.
